The future tense is used when speaking about events that will in the future. The auxiliary verb “go” is used when talking about events that will happen in the future.

  • Eze go show you the house. (Eze will show you the house)

The negation of the future tense

The sentence in the future tense can be negated by placing the adverb “no” before “go.” Below are the negations of the examples given above:

  • I no go do am. (I will not do it)
  • Eze no go show you the house. (Eze will not show you the house)
